Apple security updates - July 15, 2020

Other than iOS updates for iPhone, and macOS for MacBook etc., Apple has recently issued the security updates for iPhones (iOS), Mac (Sarari) and other Apple devices etc. on July 15, 2020. 

If you are using MacBook or iPad or iPhone or Apple watch or Apple TV etc. then you can either update them manually or auto-mode update.



Please find the list of Apple security updates for July 15, 2020.

Safari 13.1.2 - macOS Mojave and macOS High Sierra, and included in macOS Catalina.

iOS 12.4.8 - This update has no published CVE entries. iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, iPad Air, iPad mini 2 and 3, iPod touch (6th generation).

watchOS 5.3.8 - This update has no published CVE entries. Apple Watch Series 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Xcode 11.6 - This update has no published CVE entries. macOS Mojave 10.15.2 and later.

iOS 13.6 and iPadOS 13.6 7th generation for iPhone 6s and later, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch. 

tvOS 13.4.8 - Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD.

watchOS 6.2.8 - Apple Watch Series 1 and later.

macOS Catalina 10.15.6, Security Update 2020-004 Mojave, Security Update 2020-004 High Sierra - macOS Catalina 10.15.5.

How to update iOS / Software in iPhone?

Step 1: Unlock your iPhone.

Step 2: Go to Setting.

Step 3: Tap on 'General' option.

Step 4: Click on 'Software update' option.

Step 5: Set 'Automatic Updates' to 'On' if it is 'off'.

Step 6: Click on the link given by Apple for the latest software update. Done.
