How to update to iOS 16 or iPadOS 16

Would you like to know how to install iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 for your (compatible) devices? Here is the simple guideline on this. 

Try to create a backup before updating iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 for your devices. Back up your device to iCloud or your computer so you have a copy of your important information.

Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly / Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.

Plug your Apple device (suitable iPhone or iPad) into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.

Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.

If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.

Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now.

How to automatic update to iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 software?

Your device can update automatically overnight while it's charging.

Turn on automatic updates
Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
Tap Automatic Updates, then turn on Download iOS Updates.
Turn on Install iOS Updates. Your device will automatically update to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.

Please note, some updates might need to be installed manually.
