Quick Ride App and its potential features and benefits

Quick Ride, the largest carpooling platform in the city, announced the country’s first carpooling Awards in an effort to recognize and appreciate the corporates and people who have promoted carpooling to reduce traffic congestion and pollution in the city.

Quick Ride app is easy to download from Playstore for Android users and can use it in a friendly manner. 


The app features reliable service for corporates as well as an individual who can share the car (take or accept) with car owners for the same route and time. It is one of the effective way to reduce the cost and traffic. Be more responsible and socialize.

The panels stars were Revathi Ashok, CEO and Managing Trustee, BPAC, RK Mishra- Non Resident Scholar (Carnegie India) and Founder-Yulu Bikes, Rama Devi, CEO-ELCIA, Dhanya Shetty-Manager, Wipro amongst others. The discussion topic was “Effective Ways to Solve Traffic Congestion and Carpooling”.

Despite AI and Blockchain development, technology has to come to ground level in order to move with successful and systematic road traffic management. One of the panelist, Rama Devi explained it well.

The event was graced by the Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Bengaluru Mr. P. Harishekharan who gave away the awards with the Quick Ride Senior Management.

Since launching the Quick Ride app in 2015, the carpooling application has grown in leaps and bounds. The growth of carpooling culture in Bengaluru along with other cities across India has led to over one Million users making Quick Ride their app of choice for daily commuting.
